What goes with gray? Vibrant colors are all the rage! Bold shades of gold, green, yellow, red, purple, orange and other hot hues can be found throughout furniture and accessory showrooms as a way to punch up neutral (gray) spaces to add lots of personality. An unexpected color this season is pink. A color most often used in young girls rooms, but it becomes a very sophisticated accent in a neutral (gray) setting. Blue is the most universally liked of all the colors, and we are seeing even more of it this year. There is a shade of blue for everyone from dark indigo and sapphire to lighter tones such as ice blue and baby blue. It has been said that Navy is the new black! A LITTLE BOLD! BE Acrylic materials have become popular for chairs, tables, lighting and accessories. The market is adjusting to the consumer who is young and currently may have less space, the older consumer who is downsizing, and the consumer just looking for new, exciting products. Acrylic materials are the perfect example of a product reaching out to all three of these customers. Acrylic legs, for example, give the illusion of opening up a space and giving it more room. This material is also lighter in weight making them easier to move around. CAN MEAN MORE! LESS 10
